Katherine Legudi, Managing Director of RagTrade Solutions, was born and bred into the Melbourne RagTrade industry. 

 
Her good stock and 41 years in the industry, ensures you, as a client, are in the very best hands. She gained her experienced by working in the family's Melbourne based business designing and manufacturing women's apparel ranges.

 
She is a well respected and sought after industry consultant, providing advice and services to companies ranging from start up's to major garment manufacturers and retailers.

 
Those who have met Kath, will have experienced her enthusiasm for telling stories of a bygone era in the RagTrade ...visiting fabric houses in Flinders Lane, making patterns for sample machinists, working in inches, cutting samples late into the night to meet timelines..... ( now called working to the critical path). It was a time where business was done on trust, honesty and a hand shake...' in an era with no faxes, emails, computers, mobiles or clouds, just simply land line phones, verbal communications and good old fashion hard work.

 
Katherine has had key and influential roles ranging from the factory floor, sales, design and product development, production management and consultation. Her specialist skills include the provision of expert opinion, advice on quality assurance and compliance as well as the end to end process of manufacturing.

 
The past 15 years has brought a strong consumer focus in retail, ensuring product is compliant to regulatory standards and policies with key factors being Katherine’s expertise in developing fashion focused product without impacting design, quality, safety and cost.
